There’s no denying autumn is one of the most spectacular times of the year in our Carolina mountains. From basking in fall foliage to indulging in the season’s bounty, here are some of our most anticipated autumn events across The Cliffs communities and in the great nearby cities we call home.

Fall for Greenville
October 12 – 14 – Downtown Greenville
One of the Southeast’s favorite fall festivals returns! Discover a world of tempting tastes from over 40 local restaurants and entertainment from seven stages along Greenville’s Main Street.

Peak Fall Foliage Along the Blue Ridge Parkway
October 17 – 26 | Blue Ridge Parkway
Warm weather well into October has delayed fall foliage this season. Enjoy peak color along the Blue Ridge Parkway the third and fourth weeks of the month. Take a scenic drive along this winding route for some spectacular autumn views.

4th Annual Oyster Fest & Low Country Boil
Saturday, October 13 – 6:00 pm – The Cliffs at Walnut Cove Tavern
Sponsored by Walnut Cove Realty, the 4th annual oyster fest will start with oyster shucking and cocktails. Afterwards, enjoy a low country boil while taking in the beautiful sunset.

Sip, Sip, Soirée
Tuesday, October 16 – 6:00 – 9:00 pm – The Cliffs at Keowee Springs Bistro
All ladies of The Cliffs’ three Lake Keowee communities are invited to join a special celebration as Chef Joey and his team dazzle with a four course meal fit for royalty.

Oktoberfest! at The Cliffs Valley
Thursday, October 18 – 6:00 – 10:00 pm – The Cliffs Valley Clubhouse Courtyard
Enjoy festive German music and dancing from the acclaimed Foothills Oompah Band, German beer and wine selections, and delicious German fare from Chef Victor and team.

Fall Oyster Festival & Farmer’s Market
Friday, October 19 – 6:00 pm – The Cliffs at Mountain Park Cabin
A fun-filled dining, shopping, and neighborhood party unlike anything else. Dance to live music as you stock your pantries and cellars with goods from local artisans and more, then enjoy Chef Kevin’s take on a lowcountry oyster roast.

Art on the Trail
Saturday, October 20 – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Trailblazer Park, Travelers Rest
This creative gathering of visual and performing artists is designed to arouse the inner artists in all of us. Enjoy delicious local fare from select food trucks and shop till you drop at the amazing Art Market. Plus, take in a series of performances, literary readings, children’s art activities and so much more.

Halloween Pet Parade
Tuesday, October 30 – 5:00 – 6:00 pm – The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards Clubhouse Patio
The competition is on! Dress up your pet for a spooktacularly fun time and a costume contest.

Twilight Night & Spooky Bites
Wednesday, October 31 – 5:30 pm – The Cliffs at Glassy Golf Course
Play a round of nighttime, glow ball golf with spooky bites provided for your group throughout the golf course.

Fall Foliage Tour
Tuesday, November 6 – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Devil’s Fork State Park
Let Jocassee Lake Tours introduce you to some of the area’s most interesting and colorful trees up close and personal – from the comfort of a pontoon boat – as we explore the science behind changing colors in leaves and other plants.
