Keowee Vineyards Club Championship

Format: This year the Club Championship will be broken down as follows:

Men’s Club Championship: All players will compete in 36-hole stroke play at scratch from approximately 6600 yards (blue tee markers) each day. The lowest 36-hole total will be the 2018 Men’s Club Champion. Awards for Club Champion and Runner Up.

The Whitewater Championship (Gross & Net): All players will compete in 36- hole Stroke play from the White Tee markers. The player with the lowest 36-hole Gross Score will be the Whitewater Champion. For Net Scoring, a modified stableford points system will be used. Awards for Net Scoring will be based on the number of players in this division. A player that picks up or does not complete a hole is not eligible to be the gross champion, but remains eligible for prizes based on the Net modified stableford scoring.

The Toxaway Championship (Gross & Net): All players will compete in 36-hole stroke play from the Gold Tee markers*. The player with the lowest 36-hole Gross Score will be the Towaway Champion. For Net Scoring, a modified stableford points system will be used. Awards for Net Scoring will be based on the number of players in this division. A player that picks up or does not complete a hole is not eligible to be the gross champion, but remains eligible for prizes based on the Net modified stableford scoring.

*To be eligible to compete in the Toxaway Championship, a minimum of 80% of your posted rounds must be from our combo tees, gold tees or similar yardage at another club.

Ladies’ Championship Flight: 36-holes stroke play. Gross only with prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Players in Championship Flight who do not win a prize are also eligible for Stableford Net Flight prizes. Pairings in 2-somes and 3-somes set by the professional golf staff on day 1 and by score on day 2.

Ladies’ Stableford Net Flight: 18-holes on Saturday, June 2. Red Tee and Orange/Scoring tee divisions. Prizes for 1st place only. Pairings in 2-somes and 3-somes set by the professional golf staff.

Stableford Points System for Net Scoring (Men and Women): -1 for Net Double Bogey or higher, 1 for Net Bogey, 2 for Net Par, 3 for Birdie, 4 for net eagle , 5 for net double eagle.

The Handicap Revision on June 1 will be the handicap used for the event.

Eligibility: Keowee Vineyards Primary Members Only. Legacy Access and Corporate Members are not eligible.

Entry fee: $30. Regular Member Golf and Cart Fees apply. Entry fee goes toward tournament prizes. All Turnhouse and post round meals are considered optional and billed separately.

Registration deadline: May 29 at 12:00 pm.
