Saying Goodbye to Summer at The Cliffs

Summer might not officially be over for a few more weeks, but with Labor Day upon us, it’s time to unofficially say goodbye to summer as autumn approaches. While we wave goodbye to summer, let’s take a look back at some of the fun and exciting events this season at The Cliffs.

Memorial Day Car Show and Cook Out at Keowee Vineyards
If Labor Day marks the finale of summer, Memorial Day unofficially marks the beginning. We kicked off the season at Keowee Vineyards with a car show featuring members’ cars and a cook out with delectable dishes from Chef Francis and his crew, plus live music from the Falls Creek Rush band, made up of members from Keowee Vineyards, Keowee Falls and Valley.

Kamp Keowee
Each year, Cliffs members and residents host Kamp Keowee for the children and grandchildren in our Lake Keowee communities to provide a safe, healthy, educational and fun-filled experience while building strong relationships and memories between kampers, parents and grandparents.

Ride with George Hincapie at Keowee Vineyards
More than a dozen Cliffs cyclists joined Tour de France legend and The Cliffs’ Director of Cycling George Hincapie on a 15- or 35-mile ride traversing the winding mountain roads around The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards as a part of his signature cycling series at The Cliffs. It was one of the first Rides with George to take off from our Lake Keowee communities.
