After a fantastically successful Memorial Day golf tournament benefitting Upstate Warrior Solution, Cliffs members and residents last week presented the local veterans’ aide organization with the more than $62,000 raised.
The money was raised during the inaugural “Cliffs Salutes Fairways for Warriors” Memorial Day Golf Tournament, where the tagline, “They Stood Up for Us, Let Us Stand By Them” was clearly met. The monies raised for the organization will be used to further enhance the various programs provided by Upstate Warrior Solution that have already assisted 2,240 warriors in the three short years UWS has been serving: 486 warriors have been enrolled in school; 221 warriors employed; 138 warriors found housing; and 3,360 warrior family members have been assisted through the program.
The Cliffs is extremely humbled by and proud of the generosity of our residents and members who have so graciously supported Upstate Warrior Solution. Save the date for the next tournament benefitting UWS, coming Memorial Day 2017!
