Morgan-Keefe Builders Celebrates Major Milestone

Morgan-Keefe Builders, one of The Cliffs’ Preferred Builders, is celebrating its 40th anniversary of building luxury homes that inspire and define high-end custom construction. They know the design standards and expectations of The Cliffs, too, and passed our tests for fit and finish detail, integrity, and financial condition.
The Asheville based firm was founded in 1980 by Malcolm Morgan and is celebrating its 40th anniversary in style. After decades of success in the custom home building market, it has always been Morgan’s joy of building exquisite homes that prompts people to refer to them as masterpieces.
Since the beginning, he has worked diligently to assemble a team of expert construction professionals and master craftspeople who align with MKB’s principles of integrity, quality, and accountability. Morgan can be seen almost daily checking-in on sites to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality measures are being held to the highest standard. He is equally dedicated to communicating with each client to stay true to his commitment of being an advocate and a partner. 
Over the 40-year journey, these partnerships and friendships have created a system of referrals and repeat business that further strengthened rapport and trust in MKB. In 2019, with a high demand from former clients to restore their magnificent works of art, MKB expanded their offerings to include a department dedicated to the restoration and rejuvenation of luxury homes in both western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
Malcolm remarked, “Many of our previous clients are adding onto their estates, some are even building private spaces where they can work from home now and possibly in the future.”
In special recognition, one of their homes in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove was selected as the site of Peter Millar’s photoshoot for their upcoming line of apparel. Coincidence?
