WONDERS NEVER CEASE

This is land bisected by countless waterfalls that are as accessible as they are inspiring. There are hot springs and natural water slides, towering ribbons of falling water and roaring white water rapids. At The Cliffs, water is our muse and constant companion, just as are a walking stick and eager companion.

TWENTY THOUSAND ACRES.
SURROUNDED BY A MILLION MORE.

One could hike, boat, fish, swim and explore inside the gates of The Cliffs. But the wonders of the region are irresistible — our natural, national treasures are part of the fabric of everyday life. We drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we pass Table Rock, Keowee Toxaway, the Jocassee Gorges. We hike under waterfalls and like children into deep pools of blue. We set out in kayaks and canoes, our hiking boots are always dirty. And we all agree, it’s always better outside than in.

FALLING WATER

The best of the thousand waterfalls around The Cliffs are free to visit, but most are a bit hidden since they are not signed or found via maps or GPS. All the more reason to wander, discover and be rewarded by each discovery. A few of the gems are along the Blue Ridge Parkway and marked by small mileposts.
