If you're feeling trepidation about whether you'll find kindred spirits at The Cliffs, you needn’t worry: Our members make sure you feel welcome. Simply attend a Friday night mountaintop mixer, join a bourbon tasting around the fire pit, or participate in one of our weekly golf events, and you’ll find yourself with a dozen new friends by the end of the evening. As a new member, you'll get the red-carpet treatment — including a personal chef who comes to your home on the first evening of your residence at The Cliffs! Before you know it, you’ll feel like you’ve lived here forever.
Busy is the order of the day — The Cliffs calendar includes more than 2,000 event a year. Gather for a weekly potluck in the pavilion high atop Glassy Mountain. Delight in some friendly competition at regular Trivia Nights or imbibe with friends at a Weekly Wine Down. Indulge at a grand annual oyster roast or Lowcountry boil. And be sure never to miss a Fourth of July fireworks or Christmas parade by boat.
More than 300 social clubs and dozens of activities and sports connect members with common interests and passions. Ultra-competitive tennis players make great friends as easily as members looking for a relaxed card game and a glass of wine. Avid cyclist? There’s a club for that. Love to bowl? Lace up your shoes. From bridge to books, gardening, shooting, stitching, driving and more, whatever your passion, you’ll find a club for it at The Cliffs.
Our members volunteer countless hours and share their talents with educational organizations, local children's charities, arts and cultural organizations, fire departments, sports charities, hospital foundations, environmental organizations, parks and other local groups in nearby towns, including Greenville and Asheville.
