This month, The Cliffs at Glassy hosted the annual Best of the Best Golf Tournament, drawing the crowds to the links. This fun-filled day saw all seven clubs unite on the Tom Jackson-designed golf course at Glassy to compete for this year’s coveted title of The Best of the Best.
The competition was fierce, but ultimately, the Glassy home team of Barry Vogelmeier, Dana Oldham, John Austin, John Santo, Sharon Bunch, Carolyn Elsey, Diane Roemer, Cheryl Scullin, Kyle Reighard, and Bryce Honeck were named the 2024 Best of the Best Overall Club Champions.
Other notable wins included:
Gay Shackleford and Liz Yacovone of Mountain Park won the 2024 Ladies’ Gross division title.
Zach Miller and Don Miller of Keowee Springs took home the 2024 Men’s Gross division title.
Nancy Schultz and Diana Maleckar triumphed in the 2024 Ladies’ Net division, bringing home the title to Walnut Cove.
Patrick Mullen and Mark Podl secured the 2024 Men’s Net division title, also for Keowee Springs.
Matt Pavia and Joel Roberts of Mountain Park also won their title in the 2024 Professional division.
