The Cliffs Club Membership: How it Works

With not one but seven clubs to choose from, you are in control of creating your personal experience in the community. Prefer spending your days by the water? Our Lake Region by the magnificent Lake Keowee is perfect for your lifestyle! Rather be tucked away in the heart of the forest? Then our Mountain Region, found in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, would suit your needs. And for those who want to balance the beauty of the great outdoors with urban amenities, our Asheville Region offers just that! As you can see, no matter what luxuries you desire, we have a community that offers exactly what you’re looking for. 

Once you find and purchase a qualifying property in your desired community you will be given the opportunity to purchase a club membership. This membership will grant you access not only to your home club but also to the other six communities that make up The Cliffs.

To bring our members together outside of the clubhouse, we have more than 300 private social clubs at The Cliffs. Watersports Program

Make a splash at The Cliffs with our water sports program. Surrounded by a sandy shoreline, our Surf Shop on Lake Keowee is the perfect place to gear up and start your lake adventure. The facility stocks stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, jet skis, and other equipment to make your day truly memorable. The expert staff can also provide safety training and ensure the experience is safe and enjoyable.

Equestrian Center

With one of the finest luxury equestrian centers in the country, The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards offers horse lovers a private facility to board, ride, and care for their animals. The center is equipped with stables, an arena, and riding trails and is led by experienced staff. Here, members have the opportunity to learn about the animal’s behavior, along with how to properly handle and care for them, and even attend member events held throughout the year. 

Fine Dining 

At The Cliffs, we know that food has a way to bring people together –– that’s why we have invested in our experienced chefs and culinary team to create a private dining experience that offers excellence with every bite. 

To expertly pair your wine with your meal, we also have a team of more than a dozen sommeliers at The Cliffs. They hand-select our collection of wine, filling our cellars with some of the finest vintages available –– creating a wine experience unlike any other.

Types of Membership

While some private membership clubs have a set package, our club membership at The Cliffs is characterized by the flexibility we provide. We offer two levels of membership to make the experience truly fit your particular interests and lifestyle. 

For avid golfers, the golf membership is the preferred choice –– opening the door to all our exclusive golf-specific amenities at The Cliffs. This includes the courses, practice facilities, member tournaments, and pro shops! As the highest level of membership, members also have complete access to the other club amenities, including wellness centers, outdoor activity areas, and dining venues. 

On the other hand, if you aren’t as keen on swinging a golf club, the active membership grants access to all of the wellness centers, sports courts, clubhouses, dining venues, the Beach Club, and marina facilities. This membership also includes full access to outdoor activity areas, including hiking and walking trails, the equestrian center, private parks, and pavilions.
