Five Wellness Amenities
Cardio and Strength Training Equipment
Our wellness centers are stocked with an impressive array of top-of-the-line cardio and strength-training equipment. All of our cardio areas are equipped with treadmills, stationary bicycles, elliptical machines, and rowing machines. The strength training area is packed with full sets of free weights and advanced strength training machines, offering an impressive variety so our residents can always keep their workouts fresh.
Sport Courts
There is never a shortage of court activities in any of our communities. With abundant tennis and pickleball courts, our members can stay healthy and engage in friendly competition whenever they choose. Our impressive tennis facilities are home to 22 hard and Har-Tru courts with lights included, meaning play late into the evening hours is a regular occurrence.
Racquet sports professionals in each of our communities can help take your game to the next level with available private lessons. Throughout the year, our tennis community hosts numerous member tournaments that are both entertaining social events and full of challenging competition. Pickleball is already a huge part of our communities, and our state-of-the-art courts provide the perfect playing surface for those new to the sport and pickleball gurus. We are also excited to announce that we will soon be adding padel to our repertoire of racquet sports, which you can find at the new Sports Pavilion at Mountain Park. So, regardless of your court sport of choice, The Cliffs has you covered!

Luxurious Pools
Swimming is a favorite activity among our members because it is low-impact and improves cardiovascular health, strength, and endurance. Most of our wellness facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, allowing members to participate in water activities throughout the year. A few of our pools are even Olympic-size, perfect for guests looking to get their laps in. For those looking for a more adventurous exercise experience, we also offer aerobics classes and paddleboard yoga right on Lake Keowee.
Group Fitness Classes
We offer group fitness classes for members seeking fun and social wellness activities. One of the more popular options is our Zumba classes, which combine fun music with cardio-focused choreography that gets the body moving. Members also enjoy our spin classes because of their fast pace and knowledgeable spin instructors.
Looking for a slower-paced class? Our yoga and pilates classes are also available for those looking to slow down and enjoy the moment. These two unique exercises target physical and mental strength by improving focus, stability, flexibility, and posture.
Private Training
Our private trainers work with our members to support and elevate their fitness goals. As a member, you can schedule one-on-one private training with any of our experienced instructors. Prior to your session, you can discuss your goals and create a custom training regimen that is fit for you. Our trainers will be right by your side during your sessions, ensuring proper form and providing extra motivation when needed.

Each of our communities features a host of private hiking trails that connect you with the beauty of the surrounding nature. Hundreds of scenic miles line our communities and their outskirts. Take a hike with a friend, or join our Outdoor Pursuits team on one of their monthly guided tour hikes.

Mountain Biking & Road Cycling
Thrill-seekers will also love our extensive network of mountain biking trails, designed to challenge and reward with a fantastic workout. Ride through varied terrain, building strength and endurance while soaking up breathtaking views. Alternatively, join cycling legends George Hincapie, Christian Vande Velde, and Bobby Julich, former Tour de France competitors, along with The Cliffs’ Cycling Directors, on guided group rides along our scenic mountain roads.
