The Cliffs is excited to announce that a Greenville-based developer, in partnership with Fairview Builders, has purchased 18 acres at the Village at Mountain Park and this week revealed exciting plans to develop a mix of residential, commercial, retail, medical and office space to complement The Cliffs at Mountain Park, as well as serve the greater public of northern Greenville County, including Travelers Rest and surrounding neighborhoods.
The property was previously owned by a private individual for the past for years. As part of the deal, the new ownership group is working with The Cliffs to build 10 luxury waterfront patio homes with panoramic views of the Gary Player links-style course at The Cliffs at Mountain Park.
Additional plans for the Village development include an independent living and assisted living facility, a bed and breakfast with associated hillside bungalows, and a Market Square with mixed-use commercial and retail facilities. The new development will complement the Village’s existing businesses—including Gabriel Builders, The Dental Retreat, Medical Group of the Carolinas Family Medicine and Davis Audiology—as well as The Cliffs Information Center and Mountain Park Wellness Center opening in January 2017. The Village will be gated but open to the public during daylight hours and closed to non-residents during evenings and overnight.
