The Cliffs at Keowee Falls

Spring is ahead and bringing blissful nights with it! This is a perfect time to brush up on the basics of building campfires and gather around the fire with friends. Join Kyle Henry as he reveals all his secrets on starting a campfire. He will discuss some unique items that can be used, different techniques, and fire safety. Socialize, learn, play campfire games, and snack on hot chocolate and s’mores.

Cliffs CyclingDoodle Trail Bike Ride
Wednesday, February 27 | 10:00 am
Easley, SC

Join us for a relaxing 15-mile ride on the Doodle trail connecting Pickens to Easley! Like the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, this “rail to trail” connection has given the Pickens area great new life. After the ride, we will grab a beer from Appalachian Ale House or a coffee from Coyote Coffee!

Glassy Community Hike
Friday, March 1 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Glassy

This hike will be one you don’t want to miss. Our 2.8-mile hike on the nature trail is full of wonderful views and includes a pit stop at the Glassy Chapel.

Fall Creek WaterfallKeowee Falls Community Hike
Monday, March 4 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Keowee Falls

Join us as we explore the Parkway Pass Trail and Fall Creek Trail. We will hike to the Fall Creek Waterfall and then hike back to the front of the community for a 2.2-mile hike if you shuttle or a 4.4-mile hike if you decide to hike there and back!

Keowee Vineyards Community Hike
Thursday, March 7 | 10:00 am
Keowee Vineyards Wellness Center

From the Keowee Vineyards Wellness Center we will be hiking up to Lake Jocassee! Walk on Tahiti Beach and see where they got the rocks for the dam. Jocassee is very quiet this time of year and will surely not disappoint.

Panther MountainValley Community Hike
Monday, March 11 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs Valley

This hike will combine the Panther Gap Sky Climb and the Mountain Summit Connector Trail for around 3.5-miles of adventure. Prepare to be blown away by the view from the Mike Wylie overlook!

Keowee Springs Community Hike
Tuesday, March 12 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Keowee Springs

Get to know one of the trails in your back yard. We will be enjoying the Springs Creek Trail, 1.18 miles of exploration!

Fall Creek WaterfallFishing Fever

Mountain Park Pavilion

Join Nick Rubio, our professional fishing guide, to get some hands-on instruction learning how to cast a fly rod! Bring any fishing gear you’d like to participate with and get ready for some fishing fun!

Keowee Vineyards Community Hike #2
Friday, March 15 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards

This hike will include most trails at Keowee Vineyards. We will get to see parts of the Twisted Pine Trail, Old Cane Creek Trail, Janet’s Trail, Turtle Ridge Trail, the Waterfall Trail, and more! Come along with us for three miles of pure exploration!

Monday, March 18 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Walnut Cove

This time around at Walnut Cove we will be hiking Avery’s Creek Trail for around 3.5-miles of exploration along beautiful Avery’s Creek.

Keowee Falls Community Hike #2
Wednesday, March 20 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Keowee Falls

Come with us as we hike McKinney Creek Trail and the Lake Access Trail at Keowee Falls North. In these 2.2 miles, we will find a great fishing hole, a waterfall, and a gazebo.

Valley Community Hike
Friday, March 22 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs Valley

On this hike at Valley we will conquer the Terry Creek Loop Trail. This easy hike to the fish pond will be two miles total.

Fly Fishing Up CloseFishing Fever
Friday, March 22 | 2:30 or 3:00 pm
The Cliffs Valley

Get fishing with The Cliffs Fishing Guide, Nick Rubio! Arrive at 2:30 to watch Nick set up his rods and ask questions or come at 3:00 to join in on the fishing fun.

Mountain Park Community Hike
Tuesday, March 26 | 10:00 am
The Cliffs at Mountain Park

Join us as we explore the Super Trail! Join us for a 3.8-mile trek round trip or coordinate with a friend to hike one way and shuttle. Halfway through we will get to take a break at the pavilion and admire Greene Pond.
Approximate Duration – 2 hours | Difficulty – Easy
