The Cliffs Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Chapter to Host Exciting, Enticing 2019 Calendar of Events

In 2016, The Cliffs unveiled its chapter of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs — the oldest and largest food and wine society in the world. Its spectacular kick-off ceremony at The Cliffs Valley was an absolute predictor for its success within the communities. Since inception, The Cliffs Chaîne des Rôtisseurs chapter has hosted dinners at all seven clubs, in unique regional and national locations (i.e., on the field of the Greenville Drive Stadium), and become a highlight on members’ calendars.

As the chapter continues to grow, so does its calendar of events. The 2019 schedule is the chapter’s most exciting yet, and will begin Sunday, March 31, 2019 at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards with a four-course Molecular Gastronomy Dinner & Tableside Demonstration, presented by The Cliffs Vice Conseiller Gastronomique Chef Francis Turck.

The dinner will be as delightful as it is delicious, featuring innovative concepts such as cocktails in ice spheres, olive oil caviar, and transparent raviolis. Talented and creative chefs use Molecular Gastronomy to blend physics with chemistry and transform the tastes and textures of food. Members interested in joining the chapter may contact Eric Cooperman, Baili of the Chaîne chapter and director of beverage at The Cliffs.

While most events are open to members only, the meet and greet evenings offer the perfect opportunities to for those interested in understanding the history and creative culinary endeavors that club members enjoy today.
