James is back again for his third season as a watersport instructor. As our skiing specialist, he can teach you to ski with two skis, or one, if you are bold enough. James is your go-to guy for anything and everything on the lake.

Kayla is a first-time driver, but she brings tons of experience from the watersport world. She is as good at surfing as she is at teaching surfing. Kayla is also an architect, a graduate of Clemson, who can provide a unique perspective about houses on the water.

Whitney is a water skier through and through. It may be her first year with us, but it is not her first time on the water. Whitney is a waterski-rated driver who was previously the president of the Clemson waterski team.

While our Outdoor Pursuits team offers boat tours and lessons throughout the season, members at The Cliffs can enroll children ages 7-14 in our Youth Watersport Clinics. For kiddos seeking adventure with the Outdoor Pursuits team–on and off the water–join us for an exciting three-day adventure filled with activities such as paddleboarding and ziplining on Lake Keowee, a river adventure, and a camping excursion at Lake Jocassee!
