The holiday season at The Cliffs is a magical time filled with exciting and fun events for the whole family. Each of our communities hosts their own events; however, our club members can enjoy access to events at all seven communities. So, join us below as we take a sleigh ride through some can’t-miss December events at The Cliffs.
Holiday Hoopla and Tree Lighting | Keowee Falls | December 6
Kick off December with the Holiday Hoopla party and Tree-Lighting ceremony at Keowee Falls. This shindig will bring together members for a night of food, drinks, and fun, culminating with the magical tree-lighting ceremony. This is an excellent event for the whole family, so don’t miss out on the holiday cheer!
Flotilla | Keowee Vineyards | December 7
While hanging festive lights on your home in December is the norm, it can get a little old. Why not hang some on your boat? At The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, members will assemble for the annual Flotilla to do just that. This unique boat parade brings together a love for holiday decorations, boating, and a general sense of community. This is a can’t-miss event for members every year.
Open House with Santa | Mountain Park | December 7
On December 7th, join us at our Mountain Park community for our Open House with Santa! Families at this event enjoy the lighting of the Christmas Tree, champagne shopping in the pro shop, carols, special snacks, and seasonal beverages. This event is perfect for families looking to fully embrace the holiday season.
Holiday Open House Benefitting Toys for Tots | Valley | December 7
Head down to the Clubhouse to celebrate the season with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a hot cocoa bar, cookie decorating, and live music. During the event, donations for Toys for Tots will be collected to spread holiday joy to all.
Craft Day: Gingerbread Houses | Valley | December 12
Celebrate National Gingerbread House Day with this festive Valley Craft Day led by Jackie from 3 Eggs Cakery. This spectacular festive event will feature Jackie’s famous freshly baked gingerbread houses and expert design tips to help guide you toward your Christmas masterpiece.
Ugly Sweater Fitness Class and Party | Mountain Park | December 13
Join us at this fun and festive holiday event. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater, and get ready to sweat! Afterward, join a social gathering and sip champagne while discussing the happenings of the holiday season with fellow members.
Winter Gala | Walnut Cove | December 14
Enjoy an elegant evening chatting with other fellow neighbors over cocktails, followed by a delectable meal in The Tavern. Join us for an amazing evening of drinks, food, and great company.
Christmas Cookie Sip and Swap | Mountain Park | December 21
Bring your best two dozen Christmas cookies to The Cabin for a cookie exchange and champagne. This member-favorite event combines delicious sweet treats and bubbly drinks for a spectacular, can’t-miss holiday event.
Santa Brunch | Keowee Springs | December 22
Join us for the annual Santa Brunch at the Keowee Springs Clubhouse! Enjoy the company of old St. Nicholas and indulge in a delicious brunch buffet. Families can snap photos with Santa in a festive and charming atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this fantastic holiday experience!
New Year’s Eve Party | Glassy | December 31
Ring in 2025 at The Cliffs at Glassy with this year’s New Year’s Eve party. A ball drop and a champagne toast will be held to celebrate the New Year.
