Golf at Mountain Park

The missing links.

There are waves of native grasses and dramatic mounding, endless seas of sand, a river running through it, and a rustic, timbered clubhouse – are there adjectives for this kind of golf? The newest addition to The Cliffs’ seven incredible offerings was named one of GOLF Magazine’s Best New Modern Courses the moment the reviewers could tee it up. This is perhaps the most unique, intriguing, rewarding, beautiful, natural and authentic golf experience on Earth. It is a singular work that has come to define Gary Player’s passion for conservation, and a spectacular experience where one simply runs out of adjectives.

Course Highlights

Golf at Mountain Park

Natural Golf

Sporting old-school golf elements – large greens, natural bunkering and open approaches – the North Saluda River cuts through the course that is very walkable with minimal elevation changes.

Mixed Greens

The course at Mountain Park features zoysia fairways, fescue rough, and hybrid bermuda greens that are so well designed, every day offers a new challenge.

A Memorable Finish

After surviving many enormous sand hazards, the course concludes with an exciting 4-hole finish – called “The Joust” – which offers golfers tantalizing risk-reward opportunities at the end of the round.

“The Cliffs at Mountain Park is more than a world-class golf estate… It’s about lifestyle; it’s about natural beauty; and more importantly, it’s about family. I want people to see what a special place exists at The Cliffs.”
