Here, just below the Blue Ridge Parkway, the front nine winds across open fields that were once farmlands, the back nine through cascading streams and native woodlands of mountain laurel. Echoing the stately architecture of grand European lodges, The Golf House offers Walnut Cove members handsome locker facilities, private lounges, and al fresco dining.
Practice Made Perfect
Walnut Cove’s practice facilities are the centerpiece of the golf campus, from the expansive multi-tiered natural turf teeing ground to the impeccably manicured putting and chipping areas.
From the Gym to the Tee
Walnut Cove is home to a grand, 18,000-square foot Wellness Center complete with cardio and strength training equipment and group exercise spaces, as well as indoor and outdoor pools, spa treatment rooms and more.

An annual favorite golf competition at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove is a member-member event dubbed “The Coalition.” This 36-hole championship tournament (and also includes two 9-hole days for ladies) pins duos against their fellow members with the format being Net Better Ball of Partners.
